The goal of the first series is to be able to greet and introduce yourself.
The second series aims to develop your ability to engage in small talk (for example, ii tenki desu ne: today is a good day, isn't it), to explain your feelings (for example, tabetai: I want to eat something, or yasumitai - I want to take a break), to describe his health and express his opinions.
In addition to this, the course helps develop an understanding of how people interact in the culture by introducing informal language that you would use with a close friend and polite language that is used with people older than you.
