Jim Stevens is a professor of accounting at Brigham Young University. He teaches business accounting knowledge to employees of multinational companies. Dr. James D. Steis is Distinguished Professor of Accounting at Brigham Young University School of Accounting. Professor Steis has been teaching at Brigham Young University since 1988. He has co-authored three accounting textbooks and has published a large number of professional and scholarly articles. In addition, Professor Steis has also participated in executive training for Ernst & Young, Bank of America, International Machines Corporation (IBM), Rosenmei International, and Anglo Gold Co., Ltd., and has worked at INSEAD (France and Singapore campuses) and CEIBS. (Porcelain). He has been recognized by his department, college and university for his excellent teaching quality. Professor Steis currently serves on the board of directors of Nutrition & Health International. Professor Jim Steve received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Washington and his M.A. and B.A. in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
