The virtualization of educational processes in universities entails a large investment, as well as training in new technologies, applications and resources, and the adaptation and digitization of class material.
The educational alternation that is being prepared in universities nationwide, and in different parts of the world, is the gateway to online education, in the educational field of society and a way to demonstrate its quality once and for all. benefits and advantages.

Higher College of Higher Administration Studies CESA
CESA has strengthened its platforms to support virtual education environments, increasing the number of licenses and improving the technological infrastructure that supports them.
The teaching staff has been provided with digitizing tablets to facilitate the development of their classes with the support of digital whiteboards, which simulate the teaching model that was being developed in the traditional classroom.
In physical infrastructure, all the rooms are being equipped with 4K technology videoconferencing cameras and microphones in order to implement a hybrid model of education, under which there will be students in the classroom and others in virtual mode.
Regarding technological support, personalized support has been provided to each of the teachers at the beginning of their classes in order to guarantee their connectivity and the optimal development of their classes. In the same way, support is provided to students who require it.
Autonomous University of Colombia
The technological infrastructure that we had has adequately supported the increase in the number of people who use the different tools simultaneously. With the support of our engineers from the technological team, we created more virtual classrooms for learning and management, the use of Google classroom and different applications was promoted to create learning environments with the tools that are commonly used by the universities and society in general.
The Communications Office permanently updates the social networks and the web portal www.fuac.edu.co as the main source of information. The great highlight at this time has been the video call, an application that simulates the face-to-face meeting that we are used to.
By increasing the virtual academic offer, we must grow in infrastructure for accommodation, security, equipment and software for the design of educational resources and to support users, since the response to requirements must be as fast as possible, if not immediate.
In accordance with the design process, a multidisciplinary work team is required, suitable and sufficient to transform the contents of the Teachers into digital and interactive teaching resources.

The Free University has been updating all its technological infrastructure in the last four years within the framework of its Comprehensive Institutional Development Plan (PIDI).

Improving its connectivity scheme, updating and centralizing its academic and administrative information systems, modernizing the entire academic suite with simulators for all areas of knowledge, access to databases and expanding the range of possibilities for our students, turning our libraries in Resource Centers for Learning and Research (CRAI).
We developed an ICT Incorporation Plan to all this technological infrastructure that allowed us to design a successful academic contingency plan, giving continuity to our academic and administrative processes mediated by information and communication technologies, being recognized by the Education Department of Microsoft Colombia, as the first university in Colombia and one of the top ten universities in Latin America, with the highest use of Microsoft TEAMS, interacting with more than 49000 active users.
This effort by Libre has not only focused on equipment and connectivity for students (hardware), but also on the programs and applications (software) that they use. That is why agreements have been made with different companies that offer virtual platform services. This has earned the University the recognition of companies such as Microsoft, for the effective application of its Teams tool.
