CPE credits in CFI virtual courses
Corporate Finance Institute CFI online courses count as credits CPE verifiable for CPA and other holders of accounting designations. CPE (for Continuing Professional Education in English), which in Spanish translates Continuous Professional Education, are credits that in the United States are a requirement for all licensed CPAs, but must also be considered by ACM licensed, unlicensed tax preparers and other accounting professionals.
For accounting professionals, these acronyms will not be unknown, but for some with an interest in entering the world of financial analysis, modeling or valuations, it will be worth clarifying their meaning:
- CPA: Certified Public Accountants in English that translates into Spanish Certified Public Accountant
- CMA: Certified Management Accountant in English that translates into Spanish Certified Business Management Accountant.
Corporate Finance Institute CFI courses offer hands-on training on financial modeling, financial analysis, and accounting topics. Students take our courses to further develop their technical skills and knowledge. They can earn 220.5 CPE credits in total, after successfully completing all courses in the CFI program. Although these credits are relevant to the standards that regulate these professionals in the United States, they will be of great value for professionals who want to think about a more international projection, or be closely aligned with the demands of global markets, which are increasingly local.
