Continuing with the exploration of the best courses of the most relevant platforms in the world in online education, AulaPro reveals which are the virtual courses with the highest ratings, and in turn the largest number of them, within the catalog of the platform of e -Learning Coursera, made up of more than 3.500 individual courses. As we mentioned, this list does not include the most advanced study formats.
The Coursera platform was consolidated in the last year as one of the most influential in the virtual education environment, thanks to its determined support for the continuity of the study for millions of people in the world affected by the pandemic. Coursera offered the world's universities and governments the possibility for students from the former, and citizens from the latter, to fully access its course catalog. More than 6.000 educational institutions and government entities of the world, and later companies, agreed to this possibility. With a proposal of services that the world needed at such a critical moment, Coursera managed, in one year, to practically double the registered students, which it had acquired in all the time of operation (about 8 years), and in turn double the traffic to its website, achieving new users who took courses, professional certifications, guided projects, specialized programs, or even undergraduate and postgraduate studies from prestigious universities in the world.
But this list, as we mentioned, only focuses on the courses.
This explosion of new students, coming from different initiatives, allowed the Coursera development team to put its platform to the maximum with successful results, optimizing the learning experience.
Coursera also recently managed to obtain the B Corp Certification. This certification is one of the most important assessments currently pursued by the most recognized companies worldwide.
According to B Lab, the organization that delivers this recognition, “Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy.”
10 years ago, Coursera started the MOOC revolution with the aim of allowing people from different parts of the world to access courses that were part of the classes taught in some of its face-to-face programs at Stanford University. Although the Coursera model continues, it has evolved to become a comprehensive solution for all stages of training a student may need.

Students can take online courses at their own pace, which means they can learn on their own time and don't have to worry about adjusting their schedules to those of a traditional educational institution. Furthermore, the courses are available in different languages, allowing students from all over the world to access the platform and study in their mother tongue.

This means that anyone, regardless of their level of education or experience, can find courses that meet their needs and learning goals.

In addition, many courses offer hands-on projects and teamwork opportunities, allowing students to apply their skills in a real-world context and gain valuable career experience.
