Virtual course of:edureka |
Edureka Manual Test Certification Training is designed to master how to develop Test Cases and Scenarios that can be Specification-based (Black Box Techniques) or Experience-Based (Error Guessing Techniques) and ensure Configuration Management , Risk Management and Defect Management.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The Edureka Manual Testing Certification Training course will combine fundamental software testing and related program analysis techniques. The course will include test generation concepts, test oracles, test coverage, regression, mutation testing, program analysis, etc.
OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
After completing the Manual Testing course, you will be able to: Understand the fundamental concepts in software testing, including software testing objectives, processes, criteria, strategies, and methods Understand software testing processes and manual testing processes as Unit Test, Integration Test, System Test, and Regression Learn to plan a test project, design test cases and data, perform test operations, manage defects, and generate test reports Learn to write software test documents and communicate with engineers in various forms Design and execute software testing activities for a test project Effectively communicate to interact and collaborate with stakeholders
INTRODUCTION TO THE LIFE CYCLE OF SOFTWARE TESTING. Learning Objectives: In this module, you will learn the fundamental concepts of testing. You will also understand the typical software development life cycle (SDLC) and the different types of models involved. The different types of activities required to implement an SDLC will be covered in this module. Topics: History of Testing, What is Testing, Why Testing is Required, What is a Defect, Principles of Testing, Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Scope of Testing, When to Test, Constraints software tester roles, SDLC overview, different lifecycle models, STLC overview, AGILE testing, etc. Get a detailed course syllabus delivered to your inbox Download the syllabus
TEST PLANNING . Learning Objectives – In this module, you will learn all about test management activities. You will also understand the roles and responsibilities of SDLC developers and their participation/contribution in each activity. Topics: Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Process Customization, Budgeting Overview, Scheduling, Configuration Management, and Risk Management. . TESTING TECHNIQUES. Learning Objectives: In this module, you will learn the importance of reviews in tests, why review and how to review? Writing effective test cases is a skill for a good tester. This module will give you an in-depth study to understand the dynamic test case writing technique for maximum coverage with minimum test cases. Topics: Static techniques: importance of reviews in STLC, review activities, roles and responsibilities during the review. Dynamic techniques: techniques based on specifications or black boxes, limit value analysis, decision table test, equivalence partition. Experience-based techniques: error guessing, exploratory testing. . Click on the "go to course" button to learn more details at edureka!
