Steis is Distinguished Professor of Accounting at Brigham Young University School of Accounting. Professor Steis has been teaching at Brigham Young University since 1988. He has co-authored three accounting textbooks and has published a large number of professional and scholarly articles. In addition, Professor Steis has also participated in executive training for Ernst & Young, Bank of America, International Machines Corporation (IBM), Rosenmei International, and Anglo Gold Co., Ltd., and has worked at INSEAD (France and Singapore campuses) and CEIBS.
